Major Intersection:
Wage Rate & Hours of Work: $15. to $16. Per Hour for a 32.5 Hour Work Week
Work Starts at:
8:30 AM each day (non negotiable) as this is when the Employers need the
Caregiver to start.
Split Shifts: 8:30
AM to 11:30 AM and again from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM
Days Off: Sunday & Monday (Or as per Employer’s requirement)
Optional
Accommodation: Free furnished room (with a lock on the door for
privacy) and all meals free available at NO CHARGE on a live-in basis.

IN HOME CHILDCAREGIVER'S Childcare Duties
& Responsibilities:
- Supervise
children’s activities and care for their needs while parents are at work
-Prepare packed
lunches and breakfast and healthy snacks and meals.
- Help with
bathing, dressing, feeding, changing diapers and toilet training
the youngest child, walk older children to school and bring them
back, escort to Park and Library, play dates etc.
-Read to them, play
with them.
-Tend to emotional
well-being of children
-Perform light
housekeeping chores around children’s needs and do their laundry.
-Assume full
responsibility for household in absence of Employers.
-Keep children’s
living areas neat and clean, safe, hygienic and organized.
-Maintain a safe,
secure and organized home environment.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Must Have a
Minimum of One Year of Paid, Full time, relevant work experience as
a Child Caregiver within the last three years.
Credentials:
A First Aid/CPR
Certification would be nice-to-have but is NOT a requirement.
Educational
Requirements:
Must have completed
and obtained Canadian High School Diploma or have obtained equivalent education
from elsewhere.
Language:
Must be fluent in
English.
Essential Skills:
-Must be competent
at managing children, supervising their activities and help with their bathing,
toileting, changing diapers, dressing, grooming, feeding and be able to
cook simple, healthy meals and make packed lunches for them.
- Be able to do
their laundry and fold and keep away their clothes
-Keep their living
and play areas, neat and clean and hygienic and organized.
- Be able to walk
them to school and back when required, escort to play dates, park and
activities at the Library etc.
-Must be able to
able to tend to emotional well-being of children and read to them and play with
them.
Weight handling:
Upto 10 kgs.
Work Environment:
-Urban Setting
-Work in Employers’
home.
Additional Skills:
-Must be warm,
loving, caring and competent at caring for the needs of young
children.
-Must have good
interpersonal and communication skills and be genuinely fond of working with
children.
-Must be Honest,
Trustworthy, reliable, punctual, flexible and have initiative.
