Salary: $27.50 / hour

Languages: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience:1 to less than 7 months
Own Tools/Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Driving record check (abstract)
Transportation/Travel Information: Willing to travel cross-border, willing to travel for extended periods, Valid driver's license, Willing to travel overnight
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Overtime required, Physically demanding, Sitting

Job Description
Specific Skills
Oversee condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment, Load and unload goods, Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo, Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, Perform brake adjustments, Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled and fuel consumption, Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, Perform preventive maintenance.
Additional Skills: Mountain driving expertise
Documentation Knowledge: Inspection report (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip), Driver logbook, Bill of lading, Accident or incident reports, Trans-border documentation
Transportation/Travel Experience: International, Long-haul
Type of Trucking and Equipment: Tractor-trailer
Weight Handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
Credentials (certificates, licenses, memberships, courses, etc.): Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
