Job Description:

? Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
? Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
? Follow recipes and take direction
? Inspect kitchens and food service areas
? Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
? Order supplies and equipment
? Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
? Fill orders needed for next day
? Clean kitchen and work areas
? Manage kitchen operations
? Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances

Requirements:
-Education: Completion of secondary school is required
-Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience
If candidate does not have at least 3 years of experience a post-secondary certificate is required.
-Knife skills are preferred
-Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Physically demanding, Standing for extended periods, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Attention to detail
-Personal Suitability: Organized, Initiative, Client focus, Dependability, Flexibility, Reliability, Team player.

Salary: $18.00 hourly, 30 - 40 hours per week.

Benefits: Free staff meals provided

Important Information: Restaurant is open from 11am to 8pm from Sunday to Thursday, and 9pm Fridays and Saturdays. This may vary depending on the season. The employees will work in shifts of 6 to 8 hours per day.
