Job Description
Job Duties:

• Responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of craft workers engaged in receiving, transporting, stocking, order filling, shipping, and maintaining all distribution switch gears, meter centres, circuit breaks and all electrical material, accurate tool inventory and stock records in warehouse.

• Responsible for overseeing storage, inventory accuracy, material and supplies stored at the warehouse.

Responsible for all the purchasing of material needed at all project sites at lowest cost.
• Maintain control of tool and equipment inventories, keeping replacement costs to a minimum.

• Ensure proper tracking of tools and tool parts to project sites.

• Maintain current data and records on the Tools and buying required tools needed for job sites.

• Identify and coordinate tool repair and maintenance.

• Ensure all tools distributed to a jobsite are in proper working order and are complete with all accessories and ensure that they are returned in the same condition.

• Evaluate and coordinate repairs for damaged tools. Repair resolution should be based on the most cost effective result.

• Purchase tools, equipment and supplies within budget guidelines and negotiate advantageous prices, services and terms.

• Review existing company owned items to fulfill requirements prior to purchasing these items.

• Maximize the utilization rate of tools and equipment

• Manage company fleet maintenance and repairs by ensuring all construction vehicles and equipment are well maintained, secure and safe to use.

• Coordinate repair of equipment and vehicles.

• Maintain records and schedule routine maintenance on equipment/vehicles.

• Interface with Branch Manager on vehicle repair and assignment.

• Maintain secured, clean, and organized storage areas and establish warehousing standards when necessary.

• Oversee coordinate and expediting of the flow of work and material according to Jobsite schedules.

• Design, develop and improve inventory movement and storage systems.

• Monitor that deliveries of supplies and equipment arrive at jobsites per schedule.
