Position: Full-time, Permanent
Start: as soon as possible
Starting compensation: 23.00CAD/hour.
Positions available: 3
Hours of work: 40 hours/week

Requirements:
• Must have prior experience as Maintenance worker (1 year or more)
• Must have operational knowledge of English (CLB 5)
• Must possess the ability adapt to flexible schedule as needed
• Must be safety-oriented
• Must have excellent problem-solving abilities
• Must have excellent attention to detail
• Must have positive attitude and work well in a team environment
• Familiarity with pools, electrical, plumbing and/or HVAC systems is an asset.
• The ability to lift items up to 50 lb. is an asset.

Job Description
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
• Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make minor purchases as required
• Respond to requests for minor repairs
• Perform daily inspections on the building systems
• Provide general assistance to skilled trade persons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, and plumbers
• Help preparing rooms prior to the arrival of new guests
• Ensure that security and safety measures are in place in the establishment
• May move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• May supervise other laborers.
