Job type- Full time and Permanent

Salary- $23/hr for 40 hrs a week

Overtime as per BC labor laws

Minimum Education- Completion of high school

Requirements

· Completion of high school, Completion of college course in tailoring an asset

· Minimum 3 years of experience in tailoring

Skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Language- English

Responsibilities-

· Measure, mark and cut the fabric according to the customer’s fitting.

· Sew clothes using sewing machine, stitch buttons/buttonholes and do hemming to finish garment.

· Help customers to select design, develops designs, adapts existing design or copies existing design for garments.

· Make alterations and repair of garments to fit customer's measurements

· Maintain sewing machines and inventory of threads, buttons, needles, laces etc.
