Position: Retail Store Supervisor

Terms of employment: Full Time, Permanent
Anticipated Start Date: As soon possible
Wage: $19.23 per hour, for 40 hours per week
Location: 4420 52 Avenue, Whitecourt, Alberta, Canada T7S 1P8
Job Duties:

·         Assign sales workers to duties

·         Authorize payments by cheque

·         Authorize return of merchandise

·         Sell merchandise

·         Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters

·         Organize and maintain inventory

·         Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers

·         Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages

Job Description

Education: Completion of Secondary school is required

Work experience: 1 year of Supervisory experience within the retail sector or 1-2 years of previous experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk, cashier, telemarketer, etcetera will be considered

Work Conditions and physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail

Personal Suitability: Flexibility, Organized, Accurate, Effective interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Team Player, Reliability

Additional Skills: Train or arrange for training of staff, Oder merchandise, Establish work schedules
