Job Brief:

Shaan’s Hair Studio is looking for Beauty Salon Attendant responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while providing high quality shampoos and conditioning treatments.  Assist guests as needed to keep the salon flowing smoothly, accurately and thoroughly.

Job Description

Beauty Salon Attendant Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome incoming customers and direct them to various parts of the salon to receive treatments
• Shampoo, condition and dry customers' hair
• Assist hair stylists with hair color, cut hair, apply chemical treatments as directed
• Answer incoming phone calls and schedule customers for appointments
• Blow dry and style hair after treatments have been successfully applied
• Must maintain professional appearance at all times
• Promote and sell services and products, including recommending and selling additional services/retail products to customers
• Stock inventory items and fill out inventory reports
• Keep work areas clean includes sweeping floors, taking out trash, wiping down styling and hair washing stations

Job requirements:

·         Language: Basic English is a requirement

·         Education: None

·         Experience: None

Other Skills and qualifications:

·         Must be reliable and punctual

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Tend to several work tasks at the same time

·         Good interpersonal and communication skills

·         Well organized and pay attention to detail
