Job Brief:

Shaan’s Hair Studio is looking for self-motivated, energetic, positive and goal-oriented Hairstylist responsible for providing a multitude of hair services to the clients. 

Job Description

Hairstylist Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervise other hair stylists and other staff
• Provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, coloring and styling
• Produce desired effect by shaping, curling, cutting, trimming, bleaching, dyeing and tinting hair
• Help maintain adequate inventory of hair products and tools by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing orders, verifying receipts
• Prepare hair for styling by analyzing hair condition, shampooing and treating hair
• Ensure clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner
• Collect payments for salon services performed
• Maintain quality service by following organization standards
• Maintain cleanliness of salon and sanitize tools and equipment after use

Job requirements:

·         Language: Basic English is a requirement

·         Education: None

·         Experience: Minimum 6-month experience is preferred, not required

Other Skills and qualifications:

·         Must be reliable and punctual

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Tend to several work tasks at the same time

·         Good interpersonal and communication skills

·         Friendly and professional demeanour

·         Able to work in fast paced environment

·         Ability to stand, sit, walk for extended periods
