Experience: 10 months to 1 year of experience as general construction helper

Job Description

We are looking for a bricklayer helper that will assist skilled tradesperson at construction sites:

Skills:

• Mix, pour and spread materials; load, unload and transport construction materials
• Fast-paced environment; handling heavy loads, physically demanding, for example handling weights up to 30kg (66lb)
• Personal suitability: Flexibility, team player, reliability
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding/framework required at construction sites
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete cement

• Assist in cutting and trimming bricks, concrete blocks, glass-blocks, and various type of concrete stone to specific measurements using hand and power tools
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction such as mixers, and compressors
• Perform other activities at construction sites, as directed.
• Assist in restoring, and cleaning existing masonry structures required at job sites.
