Salary: $15.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Qualifications:
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required;
- Completion of secondary (high) school is required;
- 2 years to less than 3 years of work experience as a cook in an established restaurant is required;
- Work experience in cooking Japanese cuisine is an asset
Job duties:
- Prepare, cook and present Japanese dishes on the menu;
- Prepare, make and present Sashimi and Sushi dishes;
- Prepare, cook and present Japanese grill dishes using Robata (Japanese traditional charcoal grill);
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances as requested;
- Maintain and manage inventory and records of food, ingredients, supplies and equipment;
- Inspect and clean kitchen and work areas;
- Suggest/plan new menus, estimate food requirements, cook and present sample dishes
