Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $15.00 hourly for 30 to 44 hours per week

Qualifications: 

- Ability to communicate orally and in writing in English is required

- Completion of secondary (high) school is required

- 2 years to less than 3 years of related work experience in a restaurant

- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine is an asset

Job Description

Job duties: 

Restaurant Floor Management:

- Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule activities of servers to efficiently cooperate with kitchen staff;

- Prepare and submit sales reports and operational issues to the company’s management office;

- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;

- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;

- Ensure food service and quality control

Staff Management:

- Train food service staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;

- Establish work schedules, and methods and plans to meet the schedules;

- Recruit, interview, and hire food service staff

Other information: 

- Work Setting: Restaurant; 

- Ability to Supervise: 16-20 people; 

- Workers Supervised: Food and beverage servers; 

- Work Location Information: On-site customer service;
