Job Description

Oakroom Grill and Food Ltd, located at #104-1023 Central Street West, Prince George, BC, V2M3C9, is looking for Permanent and full time Food Service Supervisor.

Job Type: Permanent- Full Time

Salary: $14.50 per hour

Position Available: 1

Job duties:

•             Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.

•             Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation

•             Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations

•             Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage

•             Train staff in job duties, and sanitation and safety procedures

•             Assist in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets with managerial staff

•             Requisitions and inspects foodstuffs, supplies, and equipment to maintain stock levels

•             Supervises the front counter attendants and back kitchen staff

•             Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards

 Job Requirements:

Completion of secondary school is an asset.

Completion of a college diploma in food service administration, hotel and restaurant management or related discipline

or

2-3 years of experience in food preparation or service are required.
