Mountain View Group Daycare is a multi-aged daycare and now we are hiring a licensed ECE.

Employer: Mountain View Group Daycare

Position: Early Childhood Educator (NOC 4214)

Working Location: 740 Smith Avenue, Coquitlam, BC, V3J 4E7

Working Hours: 40 hours per week (Full-time & Permanent)

Wage: $17.10

Benefit: 4% of vacation fee or 10 days paid vacation after one year of employment

Job Description

Main Duties:

·         Plan and develop programs and activities suitable for children.

·         Design and develop learning programs to meet children’s physical, intellectual, social, cultural, and emotional needs.

·         Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their kid’s development needs and learning progress.

·         Maintain and update individual record of children handled taking note of the program’s positive and negative results.

·         Supervise both indoor and outdoor play times including community trips to museums, zoos and parks.

·         Release children only to those authorized by parent / guardian, to ask for identification in order to ensure that the authorized pick-up has been verified.

Qualification:

·         Holds a valid BC ECE license is required.

·         Completion of college diploma in Early Childhood Education or relevant degree is required.

·         Having previous work experience as an Early Childhood Educator is an asset.
