We are a Hotel & Resort located in Galiano Island. Our intimate 20 room Inn that is set along the rugged sandstone shore and towering rainforest have been constantly accommodating our guests to experience the wild beauty of Galiano Island every year. We provide full services including dining, accommodation, and spa. Our restaurant is recruiting for one position of all-year, full-time, Food and Beverage Server. The typical working hours for this position is between 30-40 hours. The candidate should be flexible in time for any kind of shifts as needed. If you are relocating from other places, we may provide limited staff accommodation at your own expense. Finding your own accommodation on the island is highly recommended during the peak seasons as we may not accommodate all our staff.

Job Description

Your responsibilities include:
• Prepare restaurant tables;
• Attend to customers and engage with customers in positive and friendly manner;
• Present restaurant menus and be able to make suggestions to select food and beverages;
• Take food and drink orders;
• Relay orders to the kitchen staff;
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals;
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude;
• Issue bills and accept payment;
• Help Kitchen staff when necessary We will provide necessary training but experience in working at restaurant is asset.
