2 Rhythmic Gymnastics coaching positions are available; 35.0 hrs per week each; to begin as soon as possible. We are a Vancouver based competitive and recreational level club preparing students for shows, plus local and national competitions. Applicants must have a Bachelors Degree or Equivalent and a minimum of 5+ years working as a competitive level rhythmic gymnastics coach. Applicant must be fluent in speaking/writing English, be a team player and be an experienced and enthusiastic person who enjoys working well with children 4 yrs to 20 yrs. A Canadian Criminal Record Check, a NCCP Level 2 coaching certification (or equivalency to apply), an excellent working knowledge and application of the current FIG Code of Points and Gymnastics Canada Development Level rules are required.
Coaches will be responsible for developing and implementing daily training program for their athletes; teaching/demonstrating the technique of rhythmic gymnastics; choreographing show and competition routines. Coaches will motivate, prepare, analyze and evaluate the athletes work/skills/performance and attend any events (expenses covered) that the athletes participate in. Must like to work work as a team of coaches in preparing the club's athletes.
