Job Details
Job duties:
- Operate manual woodworking machines such as saws, planers, moulders, routers, pressing machines, shapers, sanders, and Norfield pre-hung door machinery to fabricate wooden doors
- Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces
- Read and interpret specifications and follow verbal instructions
- Shaping & tenoning profiled wood parts for doors and windows
- Breakout and process lumber
- Feeding moulders and shapers
- S4S-set up of machine centers
- Clean and lubricate equipment, and replace parts as necessary
Skill Requirements:
- Able to read basic shop drawings
- Able to read in metric and imperial measurement
Language of work: Minimal English
