We are looking for management level team members to join our team in Bancroft. Apply to this role if you have previous retail's experience, or have relevant experience in a supervisor/management role.  We are currently seeking a Store Supervisor who can promote a respectful team environment and manage team members with open communication and understanding. We are looking for an expert at training, and coaching a diverse team to achieve and maintain Bancroft Petroleum's high standards of operation. The high standards for operational excellence allow to easily plan and execute methods of increasing sales and achieving targeted costs.

 

What you'll be doing:

 

  • Supervising and coordinate the activities of the station attendants while responsible for running the daily operations of the site;
  • Planning, schedule, supervise and ensure that all gas station attendant adhere to store policies and procedures;
  • Maintaining sufficient inventory and ordering routine merchandise;
  • Formulate reports regarding merchandising, sales volumes and other matters;
  • Resolving customer complaints when needed including authorization of returns;
  • Assigning, schedule and monitor the tasks of gas service station personnel;
  • Training new staff and managing the work schedule of the staff;
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages;
  • Work on store displays, signage and new promotions are in place, make sure pricing is correct;
  • Maintaining inventory and ensure items are in stock;
  • Making sure health and safety measures and store’s cleanliness;
  • Ensuring promotions are accurate and in tune with company’s standards;
  • Marketing merchandising by studying advertisement, sales promotion and display plan;
  • Ensuring availability of merchandise and services by approving work orders; and
  • Ensuring all the equipment’s are in good and working conditions; if any issues call maintenance.

 

What we're looking for:

 

  • Post-Secondary college diploma in business management or related discipline;
  • Minimum two years of experience in retail sales experience is required;
  • Supervisory experience in a similar work setting is required;
  • Must have effective oral and written communication skills in English;
  • Must be physically able to perform all delegated duties; and
  • Punctuation and Dependability is a must.

 

Compensation: $16-$18 per hour as per experience

 

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

 

Hours of Work: Full Time. Shifts including weekends and holidays.
