Job Description

Completion of high school

At least 2 years of Korean cooking experience required

Candidate must be knowledgeable about Korean cuisine

General duties as

-Prepare and cook complete Korean specialty meals and individual dishes in the menu such as Korean specialty stew and soup, grilled dishes (Galbi, Bulgogi Dak Galbi), stir fried rice and noodles (Nengmyun, Jajang Myeon, U-Dong etc.)

-Plan and cook menus for Korean dishes, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies

-Oversee kitchen operations and food service areas

-Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment

-Order supplies and equipment

-May train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of Korean Specialty foods
