Description
of Responsibilities:
Moneta Porcupine Mines Inc.
(“Corporation”) is a gold exploration company which holds a 100% interest in 5
core gold projects and a 50% JV with Kirkland Lake Gold strategically located
on or along the Destor Porcupine Fault Zone corridor (“Destor”), one of the key
mineralized structures in the Abitibi Greenstone belt in Ontario, with
excellent infrastructure including access roads, water, electricity, and mills.
The successful candidate will be safety-conscious, enthusiastic and open to new challenges.

As a Exploration Geologist, your general responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Planning and implementation of the Corporation’s exploration activities in a timely manner;
• Management, including data entry and QA/QC, of the Corporation’s exploration database, in an accurate and professional manner conducted to best practice industry standards;
• Manage, operate and report on the Corporations geochemical and exploration QA/QC program and ensure the quality of data meets best practice industry standards;
• Review and report on analytical quality control information for the Corporation’s projects
• Operate the various exploration data sets within the corporations Geosoft Target and ArcGIS software and GEMS, Leapfrog in order to extract maximum exploration value from the data;
• Complete GIS data review of the Corporation’s exploration data sets to generate exploration targets with the potential to warrant additional evaluation work and possibly drill testing;
• Ability to operate databases and work to best industry standards in maintaining the integrity and validity of data.
• Support the completion of NI 43-101 style technical reports when required
• Progress reporting on a weekly basis and monthly QA/QC reports
• Assist in the production of geological interpretative maps, cross-sections, long sections, level plans and other media for use in the Corporation’s investor presentations, website, reports and other publications as required;
• Ability to operate data logging software, as well as other exploration related software to ensure data is collected to best industry standards in maintaining the integrity and validity of data under the supervision of a Project Geologist. The Corporation currently uses Gemcom, A-Mine and Target software;
• Ability to work with other technical members of the exploration team to achieve the Corporation objectives;
• Assist in the production of reports on the interpretation of the geology and mineralization as logged and be able to comment and provide recommendation on the viability of drill targets
• Provide other geological services for the Corporation’s exploration program as may be required
