Job Details

Dae-Ji Food Group Inc. dba Dae Ji Cutlet House Restaurant is looking for a full time Restaurant Manager.

Location: #205-4501 North Road, Burnaby, BC V3N 4R7

Working hours : 35~40 hours per week, may have to work overtime if needed

Wage : $24.50~$25 per hour (based on experience)

Job type : Full-time, Permanent

Benefit: 4% of vacation pay (depending on previous experience and training, salaries may vary)

Job Description

Responsibilities include

-Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

-Monitor revenues and modify procedures and prices

-Ensure all food safety procedures are strictly adhered to according to sanitary regulations

-Work closely with management to meet revenue objectives

-Promoting and marketing the business

-Set staff work schedules and monitor staff performance

-Overseeing stock level and ordering supplies

-Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities

-Communicate with customers to receive feedback and manage complaints

-Recruit, train and supervise staff


Qualifications/Summary of Experience

-Minimum 3~5 years of experience as a restaurant manager, restaurant general manager, hospitality manager or similar role 

-Completion of secondary school is required. Degree in business administration; hospitality management or culinary schooling is a plus.

-Acute financial management skills

-Excellent interpersonal communication skills

-Exceptional organization and leadership skills

-Dependable and reliable
