Western Transloading Corporation located 1389 Lindsey Place Delta BC V3M 6V1 is currently looking for two ‘heavy duty mechanics’ who will be responsible for repair, troubleshoot and maintain mobile heavy duty equipment.

Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic (NOC: 7312)

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Job Location: 1389 Lindsey Place Delta BC V3M 6V1

Number of positions available: 2

Wages: $34.00 per hour

Job Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Description

Job duties:

-Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required

-Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts, components or systems, using hand and power tools

-Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications

-Service belts, machines, forklift and other material handling attachments.

-Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment

-Must provide high level of attention to detail

Job Requirements:

-Minimum two years of previous work experience required in a similar field.

-Completion of high school is required

-Must have basic knowledge of English.

-Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

-Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Retention Benefit: Retention bonus incentive of $1000.00 will be paid after twelve months of work at Western Transloading Corporation
