Sellax Roofing is a growing roofing company located in the GTA. We are seeking experienced permanent full-time roofers to work in GTA and surrounding areas.

Terms of Employment:
• Permanent Position - Full time
• Early in the Mornings, daytime, and/or finish late where needed which can include some overtime
• Wages - Starting at $30 - $32/hour for 30 hours per week minimum

Skill / Experience Requirements:
• 1 – 3-year experience working with flat roofing systems – Modified Bitumen, Built-Up and Single Ply
• High School diploma and / or trade school training is an asset
• Valid training certificates (WAH, WHIMS, MOL in 4 STEPS, Propane in Roofing certification) an asset
• Valid Drivers license is an asset
• Fast pace and high pressure at heights; working outside; in a commercial and/or residential setting
• Ability to – communicate in English is an asset, follow direction, work well as part of a team, climb up and down ladders where needed, and working at heights
• Must be organized, dependable, with great decision-making skills.

Job Description
• Installing, repairing and or replacing different types of flat roofing systems; Modified Bitumen, Built-Up and Single Ply
• Determine the source of leaks and apply appropriate patching where necessary
• Safe removal and disposal of existing roof where necessary
• Use of specialized roofing equipment; cutters, hoists, kettles, torches, etc.
• Interrupt and follow project schedules
• Set-up and take-down site at completion of job
• Hoist materials and / or receive materials on the roof top
• Handle weight over (55lbs)
• Maintain and properly store job equipment when not in use
• Follow and practice health and safety policies, including Covid-19 protocols
