Nanaimo Petroleum manages over 15 gas station (and growing) sites located at different parts of Canada and we are looking for an ideal candidate to join us as a full-time Office Coordinator at our office in Nanaimo, BC.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience in a similar setting will be an asset
• Excellent communication skills over the phone and email
• Language: English, proficient in multiple languages an asset (Hindi, Punjabi etc.)
• Good technology skills-should be comfortable using software’s and video conferencing
• Solid working knowledge of MS Excel and the creation and use of spreadsheets
• Diploma/Bachelor in Business or similar field.
You will be responsible for:
• Handle office responsibilities to allow a consistent full time networking effort, which is
critical in building business
• Collect information over phone or in-person as required for different scenarios
• Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and
implement new procedures as needed for smooth operation within the office
• Establish work priorities and delegate work to office staff as needed
• Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and
distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members if needed
• Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and schedule
appointments with appropriate staff
• Assist with billing processing, including client invoices and payment instructions
• Enter and maintain accurate client and application records in the operating system
• Communicate client concerns or issues with office staff members as appropriate
• Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
Salary: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday
