Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities:
1) Plan, coordinate, lead, manage, and assess the activities of a cafeteria, restaurant, or other provider of food or beverages.
2) Establish the services to be provided and put operational processes in place.
3) Recruit personnel and manage personnel training
4) Establish staff timetables and keep an eye on employee performance
5) Control inventory, keep an eye on sales, and tweak prices and procedures
6) Customer complaints should be addressed, and rules for health and safety should be observed.
7) Make agreements with vendors to purchase food and other supplies.
8) Contracts for catering or the use of venues for banquets or receptions should be negotiated with clients.
