Key duties and responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring efficiency and adherence torestaurant standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise kitchen staff, including scheduling shifts and monitoringperformance.
• Maintain high food quality and service standards while ensuring compliance with healthand safety
• regulations.
• Manage inventory, control food costs, and order ingredients and supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service and customersatisfaction.
• Develop and maintain standardized recipes and portion controls to ensure consistency.
• Establish and monitor menu costs, optimizing profitability without compromising quality.
• Train new kitchen staff on food preparation, kitchen equipment, and safety procedures.
• Address and resolve kitchen-related issues, including customer complaints related tofood quality.

Job requirements:
•Several years of experience in the food industry are required.
•Exceptional organization, time management, prioritization, and self-starter skills.
•Passion for food, beverages and commitment to quality.
•Understanding of Food and beverages Safe requirements.
•Ability to be constantly standing and walking throughout shift, and to do occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, and ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
