Job Description Tasks:
• Manage and oversee the procurement budget for Rice & Flours and Sauce &
Condiments, ensuring weekly and monthly financial planning aligns with
company goals. Collaborate closely with supervisors to finalize purchasing
decisions.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers on a bi-weekly to yearly basis to secure the
best possible deals that mutually benefits both parties.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with reliable suppliers to guarantee
quality and cost efficiency.
• Research and evaluate new suppliers in related fields to enhance business
support and expand sourcing options.
• Forecast and analyze demand based on sales trends and customer feedback,
and report findings to supervisors.
• Handle and respond to daily customer inquiries to gather market insights and
feedback.
• Collaborate with warehouse to maintain accurate inventory data and minimize
supply chain disruptions.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure compliance with
food safety regulations, uphold premium product standards and reduce
company loses due to damage.
• Monitor customer complaints and promptly contact suppliers to address issues
and ensure resolution.
• Organize and maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier
agreements.
• Liaise and assist with finance and accounting teams to facilitate invoice
processing and conduct cost analysis.
