Job Details Responsibilities
* Safely operate forklift.
* Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
* Use forklift to place pallets/boxes near running equipment in tight quarters.
* Supply packaging materials and raw materials to the line.
* Maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness in their assigned area
* Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
* Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
* All other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner.
* Forklift license would be considered an asset.
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
* Availability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends.
* Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced team environment.
* High degree of attention to detail and demonstrated ability to multi-task.
* Mechanical aptitude and previous experience would be an asset.
* A keen understanding of the load and operational limitations of a forklift.
* Willing to help in other areas if needed.
