Requirements:
- Education: Completion of secondary school
- Experience: Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks or completion of college or other program in cooking or food safety or several years of commercial cooking experience. On-the-job training will be provided.
- Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Standing for extended periods
- Personal suitability: Reliability, Team player
- Language: Basic level of English is required
Salary: $17.00 to $19.00 hourly, 40.00 hours per week.

Important Information:
The position requires flexibility in scheduling based on business needs. The work schedule is 7 am – 3:30pm; 12pm – 8:30pm; 4pm – 12:30am Weekend work and overtime will be required. Please note that we are located in a rural area.

• Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
• Oversee kitchen operations
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
• May set up and oversee buffets
• May clean kitchen and work area
• May plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
