Job Description:



Load, unload and transport construction materials

Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades

Mix, pour and spread materials

Level earth to fine grade specifications

Pave and rake asphalt

Clean and pile salvaged materials

Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction

Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Read blueprints to determine work requirements

Clean trailer and equipment after each job

Operate various power tools, compactors, and rototillers

Pour cold mix asphalt and concrete

Prepare materials and job site

Assist with landscaping, laying sod, aggregates, and topsoil

Place pylons and caution/danger tapes where necessary on job site

Assist heavy equipment operators

Job Description Requirements:

Education: Not required.

Experience: Experience is an asset. On-the-job training will be provided.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Manual dexterity, Repetitive tasks, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Standing for extended periods.

Salary: $23.00 per hour, 37.5 hours per week.



Benefits: Transportation to and from work sites provided by employer. Uniforms and protection equipment will be provided. Accommodation provided at no cost during the first two months of employment, then it will be provided at a discounted rate. Transportation costs covered if worker needs to relocate.



Important information: Flexibility on schedule is required. The regular schedule will be from Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Work on Saturdays and overtime may be required depending on the business’ needs. **We guarantee 37.5 hours of work during winter**
