Granville Island Boat Yard, a leading BC boat yard, is located on Granville Island, in the heart of Vancouver, BC. Our services include round trip haul-out, trailer to yard, water to trailer and quick lift. We are looking for 3 (three) Shipyard Labourer(s) to join our team.

Position Available: Shipyard Labourer
Type of Position: Permanent, Full-time (40 hrs/week), Shifts, Weekends
Salary: $25.00 per hour

Job Description Duties and responsibilities:
• Transport tools, materials, products throughout the shipyard using forklifts, boat cranes, other powered equipment with safest manner.
• Check and weigh shipyard materials, maintenance products and inspect their conditions.\
• Sort and store materials and products in the designated areas.
• Assist Shipyard Technicians and operators
• Clean and organize assigned areas of shipyard and maintain the cleanliness of equipment
• Perform various shipyard labouring activities.

Requirements
• Completion of secondary school
• 1+ years of experience in a related field
