We are looking for a primary childcare provider for our 2 young children.

Location:

Toronto, On, M4V1J8

Title:

Childcare Provider

Duties:

· Supervise and care for our children at our residence

· Prepare and serve meals for children

· Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

· Bathe, dress and feed infants and children

· Change diapers and prepare children for rest periods.

· Create and ensure a safe environment at our residence.

· Follow parents’ lead with toilet training

· Organize activities such as games and outings for our children

· Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

· Do laundry for children.

· Clean, organize and maintain the house as needed and as instructed.



Required Education/Experience:

· Have completed a secondary school diploma, at least 11 years of full-time elementary and secondary education

· Have successfully completed, in this field of employment, full-time vocational training of at least 6 months in a vocational school

OR

1 year of continuous paid full-time experience as a caregiver, including at least 6 consecutive months with same employer

• Have good intuition

• Have excellent organizational skills



Language Requirement:

Knowledge of English (oral)

Employment conditions, salary and hours:

Contract position with possibility of renewal

The caregiver is expected to start with 30 hours a week with the possibility of increasing to 40 hours.

Salary of $20.85 /hour.

Hours from Monday to Friday

• 7:00 am – 10:00 am

• 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Schedule may vary depending on the family's needs.
