Job Details West Coast Fishing Club (Phase II Management) is looking for an experienced a full-time, permanent (40 hr) Outboard Motor Mechanic!

Job Description Duties and Responsibilities:
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on outboard motors of various sizes
• Schedule maintenance period of all motor inventory on time in full to eliminate any possible down time during high season
• Follow up oil drain intervals of all outboard motors, properly recycle used engine oil and filters
• Diagnose, adjust repair or if necessary, replace mechanical and electrical components of motors using tools and devices
• Perform tests and quality checks on repaired motors for safety and performance metrics
• Consult & advice tour guides or motor operators on general condition of motors and other equipment for optimum motor
• Adjust, repair or replace mechanical or electrical system parts and components using hand tools and equipment
And:

• 2-3 year(s) of proven relevant work experience
• Completion of Secondary School, related trade program or certificate is an asset
• Excellent interpersonal & relationship skills, problem solving
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, shift work may be required; weekend, nights

Remuneration:
$38.00 per/hr + 2 weeks vacation
