Global Montessori Tsawwassen Childcare, established in 2011 in Delta, BC, is a well-recognized Montessori early learning centre offering programs for children aged 2.5 to 12 years old. We provide Montessori Learning, Daycare, and Before & After School Care programs in a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment. Our teaching philosophy emphasizes hands-on learning, independence, and supporting the holistic development of every child. We are currently seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join our team.

Job Description Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Plan, organize, and implement daily educational programs and activities that support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
• Lead children in activities such as storytelling, songs, games, arts and crafts, and outdoor play
• Observe and assess children’s progress and behaviour; record observations as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive learning environment
• Establish positive relationships with children, families, and co-workers
• Support children’s independence, social skills, and appropriate behaviour guidance
• Prepare snacks/meals and assist children with personal hygiene routines (e.g., toileting, washing hands), as needed
• Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and centre policies
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and participate in curriculum planning
• Perform other duties related to the position as required

Qualifications:
Completion of a College Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
Valid Early Childhood Educator Certificate in British Columbia
Valid Emergency First Aid Certificate
Minimum 6 months of experience working in a licensed daycare/childcare centre is required
Training in infant/toddler care is an asset
Clear Criminal Record Check required
Knowledge of child development and child-centred learning approaches
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to manage classroom routines and support children’s behaviour positively
