We are looking for a skilled, high-energy Pizza Cook who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to take a leadership role in our kitchen. At Captains Oven, we don’t just make pizza; we provide a world-class experience, and we want you to lead that mission.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare and cook complete pizza varieties, signature Italian sauces, and appetizers according to Captains Oven proprietary recipes and quality standards.
• Estimate food requirements on a daily basis and monitor inventory levels to ensure the kitchen is fully stocked for high-volume shifts, especially during upcoming World Cup match days.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen helpers and prep staff; direct the workflow during peak hours to ensure ticket times are met without compromising quality.
• Inspect all raw materials, including hand-cut meats and vegetables, to ensure they meet freshness standards before production begins.
• Manage the kitchen station independently, including the maintenance and operation of specialized pizza ovens and industrial cooking equipment.
• Train new team members in specialized dough-handling techniques, pizza assembly, and heat-retention packaging to maintain brand consistency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure all cooking surfaces and equipment meet or exceed provincial health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management to plan and create new menu items or seasonal features to attract international tourists and local fans.

Job Description Requirements
• 2+ years of proven experience as a Pizza Cook in a high-volume environment OR a completion of a culinary program.
• High school diploma is required.
• Ability to work in a "World Cup" pace—fast, efficient, and precise.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends to accommodate game schedules and peak tourism hours.

Remuneration & Perks
• $20.00 CAD per hour.
• 40 hours per week (Permanent).
