Active Pilates Inc. is a dynamic fitness company founded in 2019, with two locations in Richmond Hill, Ontario in the Greater Toronto Area, and Richmond, BC in the Greater Vancouver Area. The company specializes in offering group and private Pilates sessions, as well as rehab treatments, catering to individuals of all fitness levels and abilities.

Active Pilates Inc. is currently looking for a Full-time Pilates instructor in our Richmond Hill, Ontario Location. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following job duties:

• Plan and carry out Pilates-based fitness and recreational activities for individuals and groups
• Demonstrate and instruct Pilates techniques, exercises, and proper use of equipment
• Lead group classes and one-on-one sessions in structured fitness and wellness programs
• Assess clients’ needs, including those with special conditions or physical limitations, and
adapt programs accordingly
• Provide lifestyle and wellness guidance, including posture, injury prevention, and body
awareness
• Conduct therapeutic and rehabilitative Pilates exercises where appropriate
• Monitor all activities to ensure participant safety and provide first aid or emergency assistance
if required
• Enforce studio safety policies and proper use of equipment
• Set up, assemble, and maintain Pilates equipment and studio supplies
• Assist in organizing and coordinating studio events, workshops, or promotional activities
• Schedule sessions, maintain attendance records, client progress notes, and prepare basic reports
• Support training or mentoring of junior instructors or assistants when required
• Perform routine cleaning, inspection, and minor maintenance of equipment

Qualifications:
• College diploma
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience teaching Pilates classes or related work experience
• Certification as a Pilates Instructor from a recognized organization
• Strong knowledge of Pilates principles, anatomy, and biomechanics.
• Energetic and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
