Duties:
• Prepare, season, and cook complete Szechuan and Shaanxi meals or individual signature dishes according to traditional recipes and presentation standards.
• Inspect kitchen stations, prep areas, and food service lines daily to guarantee absolute freshness, correct storage temperatures, and total compliance with food safety protocols.
• Monitor and maintain accurate records of food stock, specialty Asian ingredients, kitchen supplies, and equipment usage to ensure seamless shift handovers and minimal food waste.
• Clean work surfaces, prep stations, and commercial cooking equipment to ensure a hygienic and organized workspace.
Qualification Requirement:
• 1 - 2 years of commercial cooking experience, focus on Chinese Szechuan and Shaanxi cuisine culinary.
• Ability to thrive and maintain focus within a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Capability to handle repetitive culinary tasks and stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality work consistently under pressure.
• Have a strong sense of accountability.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage prep work and station setup efficiently.
• A dedicated team player who collaborates effectively with kitchen and service staff.
• English is required. Mandarin fluency is a strong asset for kitchen communication.
