Position: Food Processing Labourer (NOC 95106)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30–40 hours per week), Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, Flexible hours, To be determined
Vacancies: 2
Hourly Wage: $23.00 to $24.00
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Location: 3109 5 AV NE Calgary, AB T2A 6C9
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Transport raw materials, finished products, packaging materials, and supplies throughout the food processing and production areas
• Assist with the preparation and processing of meat and seafood
• Feed and place raw materials and food products into processing equipment as required
• Remove finished products from processing equipment and production areas
• Sort, weight, portion, package, and label processed food products according to production requirements
• Check products and packaging for basic quality, appearance, and consistency
• Pack finished products into containers, boxes, or other packaging for storage and distribution
• Clean, cut, trim, prepare, and handle food products as required
• Clean and sanitize processing equipment, work surfaces, utensils, containers, and production areas in accordance with food safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow workplace health and safety, food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times
• Load, unload, move, and stack materials, supplies, and finished products within the production and storage areas
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor, business owner, or management, as required
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
• Completion of secondary school is an asset
• 1-7 months of experience in food handling or food processing
• Ability to follow instructions and established food safety and sanitation procedures
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining product quality and workplace cleanliness
• Flexibility, reliability, hardworking attitude, positive attitude, and ability to work effectively as part of a team

• Bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying
• Physically demanding work
• Handling heavy loads
• Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Work may involve exposure to cold or refrigerated production and storage areas
