Job Description • Prepare, cut, trim and portion beef, pork, lamb and poultry for retail sale;
• Process whole cuts of meat into standard retail portions;
• Remove bones and excess fat using manual cutting tools and power equipment;
• Grind meats and prepare fresh meat products;
• Weigh, label and package meat products for display and sale;
• Ensure proper storage, rotation and handling of fresh and frozen meats;
• Provide customer service and assist customers in selecting appropriate meat cuts;
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards;
• Monitor product quality and report inventory shortages.
