The candidate must be proficient in setup the job and run the machine using Master cam software. The CNC Machinist will work from CAD, blueprints and process sheets to effectively program components to be machined. Candidate should be able to effectively use measuring tools such as verniers and micrometers and should have experience setting-up and operating CNC machines. This position requires an individual who is flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Position available immediately.

Experience:
2 years to less than 3 years

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers)
• Set up and operate conventional and computer controlled machine tools
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery
• Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations
