Job Description • Deliver high-quality badminton coaching to athletes of various competitive levels following the club’s training methodology.
• Plan, develop and implement structured technical, tactical, physical and match preparation training sessions.
• Prepare athletes for regional, provincial, national and international badminton competitions.
• Analyze athletes’ performance and provide individualized coaching, technical instruction and performance improvement plans.
• Observe and evaluate prospective athletes’ skills and recommend appropriate training groups.
• Assist the Head Coach in implementing seasonal training plans and competition schedules.
• Assist in organizing badminton tournaments, training camps and athlete development activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior coaches during training sessions and share coaching best practices.
• Participate in coaching clinics, professional development activities and team meetings.
• Support athletes during tournaments, including match coaching and performance evaluation.
• Promote a positive, safe and professional training environment while maintaining high coaching standards.

Experience Required:
• Minimum 3 years of badminton coaching experience, including experience coaching athletes in structured competitive training programs.
• Badminton World Federation (BWF) Level 1 Coach Certification or higher.
• Experience participating in international badminton tournaments as an athlete and/or coaching competitive athletes participating in international tournaments.

Personal Suitability:
• Strong knowledge of competitive badminton techniques and tactics.
• Ability to motivate and develop athletes in a high-performance environment.
• Ability to travel and work flexible hours as required for competitions or peak training seasons.
