Job Details Champion Grocery & Liquor Store

Position: Cashier

Wage: $15.15 per hour, 30 to 40 hours

Job Duties:
1. Greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service at the checkout.
2. Scan and process grocery, beverage, and liquor purchases using a POS system.
3. Process cash, debit, credit, and other forms of payment accurately.
4. Verify valid government-issued photo ID in accordance with AGLC requirements before selling alcohol and refuse the sale of liquor to minors and intoxicated persons.
5. Bag purchases and assist customers with carrying items when needed.
6. Maintain an accurate cash drawer, process returns and exchanges and balance the register at the end of each shift.
7. Answer customer questions regarding products, prices, promotions, and store policies.
8. Stock bags, receipt paper, and checkout supplies; keep the front-end area clean and organized.
9. Occasionally assist with shelf stocking, facing products, price tags, and light store maintenance.

Requirements:
• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Will Train
ProServe certification preferred, but not necessary. Training and certification support will be provided upon hire.
