We, A.M.I. Clothing Ltd., are looking for a passionate and motivated candidate for the position of permanent, full-time Printing Manager to join our production team!

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours/ week)
Wage: $55.00 – 57.00 per hour (To be negotiable)
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible

Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily screen-printing and production operations.
- Develop and implement production schedules to ensure printing orders are completed according to specifications and deadlines.
- Plan and manage the use of labour, printing equipment, inks, garments and other production materials to meet production requirements.
- Review job orders and production requirements to determine printing specifications, production priorities, staffing and material requirements.
- Oversee screen-printing operations and ensure manual and automatic printing presses and other production equipment are properly operated and maintained.
- Establish and maintain quality control procedures and monitor product quality to ensure proper colour matching, print alignment, registration, curing and finishing standards.
- Monitor production performance and implement measures to improve productivity, product quality, workflow and workplace efficiency.
- Identify and troubleshoot production and equipment issues and coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs when required.
- Plan and manage inventory of inks, garments and other production supplies to maintain adequate stock levels for uninterrupted operations.
- Estimate production requirements and monitor labour, material and other production costs.
- Develop and implement production procedures and recommend improvements to printing methods, equipment and workflow.
- Hire, supervise, train and evaluate printing and production staff.
- Determine staff training needs and oversee training in screen-printing techniques, equipment operation, quality standards, workplace safety and company procedures.
- Ensure printing and production operations comply with workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Coordinate with other areas of the company to ensure customer orders, production requirements and delivery schedules are properly communicated and fulfilled.
What We Are Looking For
- College diploma or university degree in business administration, production management, printing technology or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in screen printing or related manufacturing/production, including supervisory or management experience, is required.
- Experience in apparel and textile industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of printing techniques, ink types (including water-based inks), screen preparation and curing processes.
- Experience in planning and managing production schedules and multiple print jobs simultaneously.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, quality control, inventory management and equipment maintenance.
- Ability to manage, guide and support a production team.
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for colour accuracy and design alignment.
