We, A.M.I. Clothing Ltd., are looking for a passionate and motivated candidate for the position of permanent, full-time Printing Supervisor – Screen printing to join our production team!

Position: Printing Supervisor – Screen printing (NOC 72022)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (30-40 hours/ week)
Wage: $34.50 – 39.50 per hour (To be negotiable)
Expected Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: 4601 23rd st suite 1, Vernon, British Columbia, V1T 4K7
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of screen-printing and production staff.
• Oversee daily screen-printing operations to ensure production targets and deadlines are met.
• Review job orders to determine specifications, including ink color, placement, and garment type.
• Set up, operate, and maintain manual and automatic screen-printing presses for a variety of apparel and textile products
• Prepare screens, mix inks (including water-based inks), and ensure precise color matching and registration.
• Train staff in screen-printing techniques, equipment operation, workplace safety, and company procedures.
• Monitor printing process, product quality and ensure proper color matching, print alignment, and finishing standards.
• Troubleshoot production and equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Requisition and manage inventory of inks, garments, and production supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels to maintain uninterrupted operations
• Conduct quality control checks on printed garments prior to packing and fulfillment.
• Recommend measures to improve productivity, product quality, and workplace efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and company policies.
• Assist in evaluating team performance and make recommendations regarding staffing, including hiring, training needs, and recognition of staff contributions
What We Are Looking For
• High school diploma is required
• At least 2 years of experience in screen printing is required
• Experience in apparel and textile industry is preferred
• Strong knowledge of printing techniques, ink types (including water-based inks), and curing processes.
• Ability to manage production schedules and multiple print jobs simultaneously.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong eye for color accuracy and design alignment
• Ability to guide and support a production team
• Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude for equipment troubleshooting.
