Job Description Job Duties:
• Inspect trucks, trailers, heavy-duty equipment and related systems to identify faults, defects and malfunctions.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and other equipment problems using computerized diagnostic tools, testing equipment and other appropriate methods.
• Adjust, repair, rebuild or replace defective parts, components and systems using hand tools, power tools and specialized equipment.
• Perform testing and operational checks on repaired equipment to verify proper performance and ensure compliance with manufacturers’ specifications.
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance, including cleaning, lubricating, servicing and adjusting equipment and components.
• Inspect, service and repair attachments and working equipment, including harvesting and tillage equipment, blades, ploughs, winches and side booms.
• Perform maintenance and repair work on heavy trucks and trailers, as required.
• Complete maintenance and repair activities in accordance with workplace safety procedures, manufacturers’ recommendations and applicable standards.
