About the Role

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Home Child Care Provider to care for our children in our non-smoking household in Oakville. This role is ideal for a dedicated caregiver with a strong background in child development, household organization, and nurturing a supportive, safe environment for young children.

Key Responsibilities

Child Care & Daily Care:

Supervise and care for a multi-aged group of children.

Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children.

Change diapers, sterilize bottles, and prepare formulas.

Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for the children.

Tend to the emotional well-being and daily social/educational development of the children.

Maintain discipline according to methods requested by the parents.


Household & Administration:

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to child care.

Keep organized records of daily activities and health/care information regarding the children.


Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: 2 to 3 years of professional child care experience.

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.

Language: Fluent in English (oral and written communication).

Security & Background: Vulnerable Sector Check (Police Record Check) required.

Physical Capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, work under pressure, and lift/handle weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Transportation: Public transit is easily accessible in the area.
