Position: Food Processing Labour (NOC 95106)
Wage:$23.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per Week
Position Summary;
The Production Associate is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and consistent production of K9 Choice Foods products. This position performs a variety of duties throughout the production process, including product preparation, processing, packaging, labeling, sanitation, material handling, and general production support.
Production Associates are expected to follow established food safety, quality, workplace safety, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while contributing to an efficient and respectful team environment.
Job duties:
1. Perform assigned duties on production and packaging lines according to daily production requirements.
2. Prepare, handle, process, package, and label raw pet food products according to established procedures and specifications.
3. Load and unload product, ingredients, packaging materials, and production supplies as required.
4. Operate designated production equipment after receiving appropriate training and authorization.
5. Monitor products during production and identify visible quality or packaging concerns.
6. Verify labels, packaging, product type, and other production requirements as assigned.
7. Assist with product changeovers and production line setup.
8. Accurately complete required production documentation and records.
9. Follow production schedules and supervisor direction to support daily production targets.
10. Minimize product loss, packaging waste, and unnecessary downtime.

Requirements
• No Degree is required
• Previous experience in food manufacturing, production, warehousing, meat processing, or a similar environment is an asset but not required. We will provide on-the-job training to familiarize the successful candidate.
