Job Description Skills Requirements:
• Education: Completion of secondary/high school graduation certificate
• Work experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the food service industry is required

Job Duties:
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods such as fresh sandwiches, hot chicken, samosas, fries, slushies, and ice creams.
• Prepare and cook special meals for customers with dietary restrictions such as gluten free, plant based etc.
• Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers and food counter attendants.
• Manage and coordinate kitchen activities to ensure smooth operations.
• Keep track of food, supplies and equipment inventory, maintaining accurate records.
• Prepare and oversee ready-to-go items like samosas and ice creams for quick service.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and work area, ensuring a hygienic environment, especially for the dine-in restaurant.
• Assist with menu planning, portion sizing, food cost estimation, and supply management.
• Support hiring efforts and provide training for kitchen staff and food counter attendants.
• May perform other duties as required by the business.
