Job Description:



Change diapers

Follow parents’ lead with toilet training

Sterilize bottles and prepare formulas

Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties

Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens

Bathe, dress and feed infants and children

Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents

Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development

Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children

Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Prepare infants and children for rest periods

Supervise and care for children

Tend to emotional well-being of children

Cook

Job Description Requirements:



Education: Completion of secondary school is required.

Experience: At least one year of full-time experience as a caregiver is required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Handling heavy loads, Physically demanding, Repetitive tasks, Work under pressure, Attention to detail.

Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Patience.

Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

Work setting: Private home – Employer’s home

Children ages: 9 months, 3 years old.

Language: English is required.



Salary: $25.00 per hour, 35 hours per week.



Benefits: Travel expenses paid by the employer if the worker needs to relocate.



Important Information: Flexibility in schedule is required. The regular work schedule will be from Monday to Friday, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Work on weekends and holiday shifts may be required with ample notice. The child care provider will be responsible for the case of two children (Ages: 9 months and 3 years old).
