Job Details Nu-Vue Exteriors Ltd. is looking for permanent, full-time Construction Site Supervisors. There are 3 positions available. Work is performed at residential job sites in Kamloops, BC and surrounding area (office: 463 Dene Drive, Kamloops, BC V2H 1J1).

Hours of work are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime is paid in accordance with the BC Employment Standards Act. Pay is $39.00/hour. Successful candidates must speak English and have completed secondary school. Minimum work experience is 3 years in residential construction, including hands-on supervisory experience.

Job Description Main duties and responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of siding, exterior carpentry and deck crews, including helpers and labourers, on residential job sites
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other subcontractors; assign daily work and track progress
• Implement and enforce site safety, including toolbox talks, fall protection and WorkSafeBC requirements
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
• Requisition materials and supplies
• Coordinate work with clients, other trades and subcontractors
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies
• Prepare work progress reports
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions and discipline
